Get to know me!
Get to know me!
I am a recent graduate from San Jose State University, where I got a Bachelor's Degree in Art/Design Studies. After college, I took a ten-week course in UX Design at General Assembly, which took me through the entire UX design process via my own case study project. I have been doing lots of freelance work in design and illustration since graduation. I consider myself a motivated and creative individual who works well with others, and I am eager to dip my toes into the working world.
I am skilled in the language and software of Art and Design. I know how to design appealing layouts with the use of color and typography. I possess drawing (illustration) skills and I have an eye for detail, I can edit videos, and I have dabbled in both 2D and 3D animation. I also am experienced with industry standard software, namely Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc). I consider myself to be a fast learner and can pick up new skills when I need them.
Additionally, I also have learned fundamental UX design skills, such as: research, interviewing, card sorting, information architecture, synthesis and analysis, sketching, wireframing, prototyping (using software like Figma and Sketch) and more.
Check out my art and UX portfolios at the top of the page (or the hamburger menu on mobile).
I am currently seeking an entry level job in Graphic/Visual Design, Illustration, UX design, or anything along those lines. I wish to use this work to develop my skills further and gain experience in working professionally.
